Determined Running

Today we're going to be talking about how to get through the hard times and push yourself even harder than you thought. When you're running whether, it is 1.5 miles or even a 5-mile run. It doesn't matter how fast you're going to run, you are going to run it the best you personally think you can ( I don't think that is walking). To help you picture this a little better, I will tell you a life experience that happen to me today in middle school cross country. But first let me give you some background information about my cross country years.

So this is the start of my second year of cross country at my middle school. Last year, I was in 6th grade going out for all types of clubs and actives. My mom and dad had been running so I  thought to give running a try and I ended up loving it, even though it was a challenge, but it wasn't difficult. So in my 6th-grade I tried it out and I not only met new friends that I am still friends with this 7th-grade year, but I learned  2 new things.

1.) I learned what it really means to run.
A.) NO run and walk exist in this really world
     B.)It is DIFFIDENTLY not easy
2.) I learned the correct meaning of hard work.
A.) pushing it till it hurts
B.) driving it till it hurts
     C.) run your butt off

So now I'm in my second year and in 7th grade now. I have beaten my PR ( personal record ) from last year and I got there by working hard and pushing myself to my highest limits. So today in Cross Country they said, " run the course at your race pace." So when I hear that I think to myself " faster than last race" but to do that I have to not only pace myself but push myself to get farther and faster. But when you do that I will hurt from pain in your mind because to be honest your not even close to pain.

When things got difficult and I felt like, I couldn't make it to the end. I felt like I needed to fall and lay in the burning sun. ( which wouldn't help because you are laying in the sun even more). I play a song in my head that motivates me to the end. The song is Imma Do It; by J Moss. So the overall message is to do it till you reach the end and motivate yourself.

Motivational Song: Imma Do It ; by J Moss

What song do you sing to yourself and what motivates you when you're running, leave a comment and I will make sure to respond as soon as possible. :) ;)
